Frequently Asked Questions
You can put ALMOST anything that you want. No concrete, bricks, cinder blocks, paint, herbicides, pesticides, fuel (or fuel cans), oil, degreasers, acids, explosives or any other hazardous (toxic) materials. Other than that, you can throw whatever you want in there. If you need to dispose of concrete or bricks, let us know and we may be able to help you find a provider to help you.
That is a possibility. Dumpsters are heavy, made of steel, and are winched on and off a trailer. We will be as careful as possible, but cannot guarantee there will be no damage, especially to grass. If you provide plywood at the drop-off point, we will lower the dumpster on to the plywood.
No, unless you are paying cash. We will do our best to put the dumpster in the most desirable location, or we will follow prior instructions provided at the time of booking
No, all debris and material must be within the dumpster and below the top rail to ensure safe and legal transport. If the dumpster is overfilled, there will be a fee for removing the excess material. If it looks like you will need more space, just give us a call and we will come up with a solution to help get rid all of your materials.
You can pay online with your credit or debit card, swipe your credit or debit card when the dumpster is delivered, or pay cash or check at the time of the delivery.
There are some circumstances where extra fees are warranted. The most common is a fee for extra weight at the time of disposal. In that case, you will be sent a copy of the weight ticket, and your card will be charged the excess amount. If you paid cash, you will be sent an invoice. Other fees may include a distance fee for delivery, dumpster blocked at time of pick up and unable to pick up within 15 minutes of arrival ($75), overloaded dumpster (over the top rail), overloaded by weight (if the dumpster is loaded to the point that it can’t be lifted -over 12,000 pounds - minimum $150 fee), and environmental fees for certain items.
Dumpster pick -up can be requested at a certain time and we will do our best to honor that request. Otherwise, the dumpster may be picked up any time on the last day of the rental or if you call us to pick it up early.
Usually this is not a problem if your dumpster is not scheduled to be delivered to another site. If you need a couple extra days, we will do our best accommodate for a small fee. If you realize you need a lot more time, we will set you up on a different rental schedule to help accommodate your schedule.
